KUJH Presidential Special
In 2015 we got lucky, President Obama visited The University of Kansas.

I was a director at the news station at the time, and got to work on this presidential special, which won the College Media Association's (CMA) Pinnacle award for 'Best TV Special Event Coverage.' I've helped lead the newscast team to two other awards, both for 'Best TV Newscast' from the CMA and from the Society of Professional Journalists.
